Why am I no longer getting alert notifications timeline?

Having issues with my notifications - they don't tell me when they received ?

Sound notifications? On all alerts texts emails etc? Are you sure your phone is not on do not disturb or the sound is off?

Hi

If you're stating that your device is not alerting you, do the following:

1. Go to Settings - Notifications and then check to make sure everything is set accordingly.

2. Check the mute switch on the left side of the iPhone and make sure it's in the UP position.

3. Press the UP volume button on the side of the device.

4. If you have iOS 7 installed, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the Control Center and then make sure that the moon icon is not highlighted.

5. Go to Settings - Sounds and make sure that alert tones are set accordingly.

No its not a sound alert issue. Say you get a facebook notification & on the lock screen it'll say JUST NOW - or 1 hr ago well it doesn't anymore

Try resetting your phone by holing in both buttons until the apple logo comes up. If that doesn't work then make sure all the settings are correct in the notifications tab.
