new ipad email says account verified but cant get into account

i have a new ipad, I have made account sign in and password, I have received email from another email account to say account verified and ticked. but on my ipad the curser keeps going round and message comes up "account not verified)

Delete the email acct from your iPad and reboot by holding down the power and home button until you see the Apple logo. Once purged go ahead and re add your email acct and all should be good. Whiuch emial acct by the way are you using? Is it an email that is already in the Native email app where you add an acct?
