Clock on Apple Watch always-on?

I want to use my watch as a clock at night on this nifty little dock I bought, so I was wondering if there is a way to keep the screen on while it is charging?

I use app called Red Clock on my iPhone for the bedside clock. Works great. I'm not getting a gen 1 watch, but even if I did, I would not be able to read the screen at night without my glasses. #oldmanvision
