Why can't my new Apple TV see my personal hotspot?

My new Apple TV can't see my personal hotspot

I'm trying to install Apple TV and the only network connection I have is my iphone personal hotspot but I've rebooted Apple TV and my phone but it can't see it. My apple laptop can see the personal hotspot by not Apple TV. I've entered the name of the personal hotspot into Apple TV and it still can't find it. I'm on the latest software on my iphone.

Try restarting your phone and see if that work, it might have been on to long

Use AirPlay from your phone...
