Can you still sell and unlimited data plan? I have been thinking about doing this.

It's an uncertainty... if you're transferring account liability to someone who is already a user on the account, maybe - if transferring liability to a 3rd party, they'll likely require switching to currently offered price plans.

If you transfer liability to a new user it is considered a change to the account and thus a reason to force a switch to a shared data plan.
