Hi all,
I'm having some problems with YouTube in Safari - most notably its refusal to create a browser history, which makes it nigh impossible to navigate backwards since any push on the browser's back button will result in returning to the last site I visited before YouTube. I've tried switching extensions off and on, clearing browser histories, etc. But nothing seems to make any difference. The problem does not occur in FireFox, Vivaldi, or Opera.
However, Vivaldi shares another YT problem with Safari, in that it doesn't show commenters' names, or the age of their comment. Don't know whether these are related or not. Any help troubleshooting this would be most appreciated!
