X and 7p mirroring each other.

I have an iPhone X. I created an encrypted backup. And then took another 7+ and restored it from the X back up. That’s 7P is a second line on my AT&T account. When someone calls that number it rings only that 7p phone. But when somebody texts me to that number or my iPhone X number the texts populate in both phones simultaneously. When I switch accounts in Tapatalk on one phone or the other it occurs in both phones.

I read about this and I know it can be caused by using the same Apple ID on two phones. But when my spare phone was a 6+, using the same Apple ID as the X it didn’t happen. but when I put the Sim card in my 7+, and using THAT phone, now it’s happening. So it didn’t happen before when using the same Apple ID but now it is. Hope that helps.

Now all texts are shown sent from the 7p number. Not the X*
