You can buy one from cricket right now for$220. And use it on ATT.

I'm not 100% on that but even w the lowest plan you can get the 64g version for $260.

You have to have it unlocked to use it on AT&T (doesn't make sense, but that's how it works). In order to have it unlocked you have to use the $70 plan. You can start with the $40 plan and just switch to the $70 plan for the last few days of your billing cycle to have it unlocked. They pro rate the plan for the period used so it would only cost you a couple dollars more if you only did it for the last couple days. Basically you would have to wait a month to use it on AT&T.
