Wifi connectivity

Ever since the iOS 10 update, my wifi will not work on most of my apps. Was never a problem before the update. I've factory reset my phone twice to no avail.

Did you restore from backup? Try resetting your network settings.

I did one from a back up then the second reset was as a new phone. But I'll try that.

That's odd. Have you tried connecting to a different wifi network? While you're at it restart your modem and router as well.

I'm the same. WiFi range seems much reduced since upgrading, even after a soft and hard reset, and when it does connect it disconnects frequently (especially on public networks).

I've noticed that on ios 10, my phone wont immediately connect to my home wifi in comparison to ios 9

Maybe you can Reset Network Settings to have try. And you need to input the Wi-Fi password.

Yes T-Mobile. And now I have the 7+, I still have the same issues. The original post was for a 6s+.

We noticed this problem with several mac we administer at the school at which I'm employed. The fix was to go into Setting -> Reset -> Reset network settings. This will cause the device to reboot. After that, you'll need to reconnect to your wifi network.
