Why won't my iPhone ring or give me a tone with incoming texts?

I do not have Do Not Disturb turned on.

I have checked and all the settings are correct for receiving notification of texts or phone calls, but no sound.

I have same problem and also do not have keyboard clicks or lock screen click.

Check 3 places for volume.
1. Side of phone
2. Pull up Control Center
3. Settings > Sounds

Is it all text messages, or just a few? Do you know?
You checked Do Not Disturb. Did you check Do Not Disturb in the messages app? Check each contact to see if Do Not Disturb is toggled on. Go to messages > Tap "details" in upper right corner > scroll down to Do Not Disturb. Toggle off.
