Why is there a small clock icon in lower left hand corner of lock screen?

I think that's from Siri Suggested Apps. If you want to disable those, swipe right on your Home screen to get to the Widgets section. Tap on the Edit button down on the bottom of the Widgets screen. Hit the red minus button next to Siri App Suggestions and then tap Done on the top right of your screen.

It's iOS's "suggested apps" feature. Do you use the clock, alarm, timer often? Or recently?
