Why is my iPhone 6 battery draining so fast?

I charged my battery like 2 hrs ago and it is already at 83%. Is this because I only have 1 bar of signal? Phone is under 2 weeks old

Have you opened up your battery stats to see what is using the battery the most? Settings>general > usage > battery usage

Yes, in low signal situations, a device can use more power trying to find and stay connected to whatever signal it can find.
