Why is my iPhone 5 memory getting full after upgrade to iOS 8.0?

iphone 5 memory getting full after upgrade to ios8.0

after update it showing my memory is almost full, when hooked up to itunes under summary the bar at the bottom that shows audio, photos, apps, and other. the other shows about 4.37 GB of other. What is other???

Update to iOS 8.1 and hopefully, things will be back to normal for you memory/storage space.
