Why have some apps deinstalled from Apple Watch version 2 & won’t reinstall??

I use audible app to listen to books while exercising without having to have my phone with me. However the app has recently deinstalled from Watch & when I try to reinstall from the Apple Watch app on iPhone it doesn’t work! Please advise...

I don’t know, but if I had to guess, I’d say the app is no longer provided for the watch or it has been upgraded to support the newer models. I do not know for certain. Have you tried reaching out to the apps’ developers?

As of now, the Audible app requires watchOS 5.0. If you have a watch without watchOS 5 or higher, it will not be installed on the watch.
