Why does my iPad keep kicking me out of YouTube every time I try to watch a video

every time I try to watch a video on YouTube my iPad kicks me out of it and tacks me back to the home screen. I already tried to shut down my iPad completely but that didn't work. What do I do now?

I don't know, but if I had to 'guess', I'd say the YouTube app needs updating, if that's what you're using to watch the YouTube videos.
