why does my facebook keep crs

My facebook app keeps crashing seconds after I am into it (no log-in was requested. Any website sought for help about facebook crashes. I had Win 8.1 updates and installed today. I was able to change my facebook password successfully on my android phone before all this happened. This is the first time ever I have experienced a problem like this.
