Why do I auto sign out of iMessage and Facetime?

auto sign out of imessage and facetime

Today I noticed in Messages settings my iMessage was turned off. This was also true fior Facetimne. I had to turn both back on and sign in with my Apple ID and generate a new app specific password. I also had to reenable Text message forwarding to my Mac and iPad. Why would it turn off/sign out without me doing it?

This has also happened on my Mac and iPad.

Probably just one of those things. I really wouldn't worry about it if it doesn't happen again.
