Why are my apps loading onto screen instead of Passbook?

apps loading onto screen instead of passbook

although I add the apps through the passbook apps page, the apps don't load within the passbook page. isn't this the point of the passbook, to have all those types of apps within it? am I doing something wrong?

Some apps are stand-alone apps that have components that are passbook friendly and transfer data to the passbook that can only be displayed by passbook.
