Why am I unable to download the Kindle app on my iPhone and iPad?

I have apple I pad and I phone. I am trying to download the kindle app and unable to do so. Help please

Login to the App Store with your Apple ID and passcode, search for the Kindle app, and when you find it, download it onto your device. If you've tried that, logout of the App Store, reboot your device, log back in to the App store and then try again.
