Which charging method is fastest for iPhone 12 Pro Max?

Question re Charging iPhone 12 Pro Max: Using Apple's 20W charger, does it make a difference in charging time whether I connect that 20W charger to Apple's MagSafe magnetic charger which is magnetically connected to the iPhone 12 Pro Max, or is it faster to connect the Apple 20W charger to a USB-C to Lighting connector cable plugged into the iPhone 12 Pro Max? So as far as charging times, is the magnetic connection faster, or is the direct plugged in connection faster, or are they both identical? Thank you in advance

It seems to me that cable will be faster, and the inefficiency of induction chargers does not appeal to me.

My 12 Pro Max charges all the way in about an hour with my Anker 30w 2 Port Fast charge adapter and Powerline+ lll cable. 18w for USB-C and 12w for USB.

When I want a 'fast charge', I use the 18W wall charger that came with my 11 Pro Max. I barely use it because my iPhones are usually on my wireless stand that sits at a perfect angle for viewing unless it's in my hand, so it's pretty much always charged and ready to go.
