Where are voice texts stored in iOS 8.1.2?

Those voice texts self destruct after 2 minutes, unless you save them. Then they're gone. Not stored anywhere.
Think "Mission Impossible".

You can set them for two minute self destruct or never... My guess it ones in the iMessage app would be deleted just like text ones...
