Same here. It ending the way it did really left a bad taste in my mouth. Visually it's stunning, but the actual story was slow and ended flat. I was pretty disappointed.

I just finished watching it and found it to be fun/comedic, especially the friend of Shang Chi. She was a hoot. The action was pretty good and as long as it is understood the movie is a fantasy then I think people will generally find it pretty good. I’m glad I watched it.
