What secure apps can I use to store sensitive data on my iPad?

I'm aware that apps like GoodReader utilize Data Protection API but after reading the white letter about security it's still vague to which level of security that app takes advantage of (Complete Protection, Protected Unless Open, etc). I also understand the security risks once my device is open to a network but I'm looking for a way to find out what apps I can use to manage sensitive documents locally and securely?
