What color leather case goes well with the iPhone X space grey?

I don't think patina is a thing with Apple leather cases, its more like wear, grime, dirt imo. I have seen some a few days old with what people call patina and it doesnt happen that quick with leather.

It’s definitely a thing. It all has to do with how a person uses or abuses their device. The saddle brown is definitely patina. The berry is part patina & part me dropping it, so the edges are worn pretty bad.

I’ve owned probably a half dozen Apple leather cases and have seen a bunch out in the wild and on this forum. I’ve yet to see any that looked worn/grimy/dirty after two days. Mine have always worn quite well.

The type of leather Apple uses will patina over time, not days.

I'll agree with that. At the same time, I know others here will use a leather conditioner to help the leather age more quickly and evenly.

Oh, and for the OP, I'm using the Burkley blue Sturdy Snap-On Case. It has a much better feel than the Apple cases and actually smells like leather, as well; not to mention that it is $10 cheaper (and even less if you get it while on sale). After a few months it still looks great.

I like the bright orange Apple leather case for the space gray X. It looks like Halloween.
