That was scarily faster than ever before for a major iOS update. I though something broke. I went through all my apps thinking something didn’t come through.

This major update, seems to just slip like any other second or third level update... worked though

Apple knows how to stream line there updates and are very confident that it will go smooth as silk.

I didn’t even do a back up and it’s not stressed as much as in the passed

That was by far the fastest major iOS update download and install. Less than 5 min to download wow! Installed in another 5 on my iPhone 7.

Wasn’t one of the things they added in iOS 10 the ability to do more of a differential update process? If so, iOS 11 would be the first OS upgrade which was able to take advantage of the groundwork laid in iOS 10.

I may be wrong though...

Updated mine took about 30 min guess it depends on how many files/apps ect you have on device but sure runs zippier .
