Voicemail notification won't go away

I have activated an iphone x with ultra mobile and ever since i activated it, a red dot appeared on the phone icon, i get a new notification everytime i'm in a low service area. if i leave my self a voice message that won't get notified tho. i tried resetting network settings, erase all content and settings, calling vm, changing password, calling ultra mobile, but they are just clueless, nothing works.

Let me get this straight. You get a "new notification" every time you're in a low service area, but if you leave yourself a "voice message", there's no notification for it. Right? If so, why is the thread title listed as "Voicemail notifications won't go away"?

Because the dot stays always there on the icon

Then did you scroll all the way down and delete "deleted messages"?

i don't have visual voicemail, i guess this can't be solved since my carrier, ultra mobile, is not supported

Just got to notifications and turn off the app badge for phone.

Wait, is it a plain red dot or the red dot with the badge showing the number?

Have you checked to see if it's the missed phone call notification
