Some years ago I read South, The Story Of Shackleton and I have watched the Shackleton mini series with Kenneth Branagh. The heart of the story is a insanely long(multi months) walk for survival across a portion of Antarctica. The story plays with a repetitive, day in day out struggle across that infinite barren tundra. This group of about 20 was trapped with no way for survival other than drag 2 boats and hundreds of pounds of supplies with them. For this series from AppleTV+ to be a series, the lone man opting to walk across the barren frozen tundra will have to include a lot of flashbacks to previous events in his life. Otherwise there’s gonna be very little dialogue to contrast a constant flat snowy tundra in every direction every episode. I don’t know if that’ll work
