Same - I don't use third party watch face apps. If I wanted something like that, I'd just use the Photos or Portraits watch face.

Problem with 3rd party watch face apps is they lack apple polish and look tacky and out of place, personally I always stick with Apple Watch faces.

That depends on your definition of safe, here is the app privacy report for facer, they have your contact info, identifiers, and usage data. You would need to email the developer to find out what they use that for.

I have been using Facer watch faces for over a year with no issue what so ever.

I’m sure that’s the case on any Apple platform.


However linking your contact info, usage data, and identifiers is a point of concern to users in regards to privacy and what the developer might do with that information, ie selling users data as another revenue stream for the developer
