Third party apps on my Apple Watch take forever to update. Is this normal?

Third party apps on my apple watch take forever to update. Is this normal?

For example, Fantastical calendar app will take 5-30 secs to update in glances or when accessed though the complication. Same with 3rd party weather app.

Mine don't take 30 secs, but I would say 5 secs if fair. I don't use Fantastical, but I do use Carrot and it does take several seconds to load. That said, I think the stock ones do, too.

Welcome to iMore! Yes, it's normal. Some apps are pretty quick while others are terribly slow.
