The Verizon App Now Has a Data Usage Widget

Verizon has just released an update to the MyVerizon app for iOS 8 users. The new update allows you to see your data usage straight from notification Center. Verizon is harnessing the power of widgets that Apple brought forth with iOS 8 to show users a real time view of their data usage. This makes it much quicker and easier for Verizon customers to track their data.

Depends on your plan. I have 4 lines on the More Everything Plan. The widget shows the shared amount. Those that show 2 gb are a different plan.

That's super convenient. For anyone with less than an unlimited plan who could get overages, this type of widget is really useful!

Got it updated last night. Works good so far. Its weird though I seem to my data more now but shows like I'm using less after I have 6 GB plan haha. Oh well it's there if I need it now and I only have to pay $10 more than my old 2 GB plan.
