I get the black png wallpapers with the colored border lines from @heyeased. He has a website.

I then use Superimpose to make the center transparent, then place the border over the image.

You use superimpose to add the iPhone X borders ?

Yes, I have several saved in the mask library in Superimpose. I can add one, then another color to blend.
