I hope this is another piece of pure gossip that comes true. Dynamic Island becomes especially useful when driving. Maps, Music, Text screen switching. I have my iPhone on a MagSafe clip just right of the steeringwheel and at the level of the dash. My very limited interaction, because I am driving, is simple with Dynamic Island-switching screens.
But it could be much more. Getting all iPhones with it will spur needed expanded development.
