TELUS is sending out text messages out to all of their customers today (I got mine about half hour ago) about a change they are making to their international rates. Message below:
On Aug 4 PPU rate to send intl txt msgs from Canada to any country (except USA) increases from 25c to 35c/msg. If you subscribe to a txt msg bundle and are within your allotted msgs, then the cost is 20c/msg. Visit telusmobility.com/text Free TELUS msg
SO, they are notifying their clients today (June 18 2010) so under the Material Adverse Clause, you have until July 18 2010 to call TELUS client care to express your disagreement with the changes and terminate your contract.
Be sure to ask for a supervisor immediately and refer to the Material Adverse Clause by name.
