I'm not only new to T-Mobile,switched from Sprint, but this is the first iPhone that I have ever owned (64GB 6 until 6s+ is available).

Anywho, 2 questions for the group:

1. How does the music freedom work? Is it really as simple as just streaming music and T-Mobile automatically knows?

2. Does T-Mobile and the iPhone 6 allow for data and voice at the same time?

Sorry for the newbie questions

Welcome to the iPhone world and iMore!

1. It just works. Use any of the streaming services posted above and T-Mobile knows automatically and doesn't count it towards your data.

2. Yes, you get LTE. You can also use WiFi for calling and texts.

This problem was solved on CDMA networks by essentially having 2 radios in CDMA phones: one for CDMA, one for LTE. (That's why I said "legacy".)
