Sonos Connect, Subwoofers and Satellites

[iMore Question]

I've never used Sonos but am looking at that as a new option. I have an Onkyo receiver which I plan to use to power my existing speakers so I'm looking at the Sonos Connect to add satellites. My questions:

1) I can use non-Sonos speakers when wiring them to the Connect, right?
2) I have a Martin-Logan wireless subwoofer tied in to my receiver. I'm assuming this will not be affected by the Connect, correct?
3) Will the wireless satellite speakers I add around the house need to be Sonos brand or can I use any type of wireless speakers?
