Sid Meier's Pirates! for iPhone

Has anyone purchased this game yet for the iPhone (not iPad version)? Thoughts?

I'll probably buy it (only$2.99 at the moment) since I have fond memories of playing this game on an Amiga back in the day, but just wanted some opinions on it.

I'm curious about this too, actually. I never played the older games, but I've got a lot of friends who flip their lid whenever the subject of the game comes up.
