Received "Apple iCloud email" is it legit?

I just recieved an apple email right now from "icloud" that states someone logged into my account on icloud from an iPhone 5S on iOS 7.1 I know it's not possible for anyone to have my email because I just changed my email when I got my new 5S and I don't use the icloud system. So could it be a fishing scam in order to get me to put my
Information in or is this legit?

It's legit, if you google around you'll see plenty of discussion on it.

Alright. That sucks. Don't know who logged into my account or how. But passwords changed. Let's hope they can't get through anymore.

I don't think it was anyone logging in, you mentioned you got a new iPhone 5S right? It could have been a delayed email from when you set it up. Either way, good idea to change your password which you've already done.

Yeah I got it a week ago but like I mentioned I don't use icloud so I don't log into that lol I do however log into my iTunes icloud to download my recent purchased songs but I didn't have iOS 7.1 until recently. Let's hope your right Chris lol.

I got several Apple emails to my iCloud email acct during Black Friday as advertising mail but then again I use iCloud email as my primary anyway.

I got a similar email when I installed iOS7.1 - that might have been the source of it.
