Two photos, taken a few seconds apart. The first is with the normal wide camera set to 1x:



And for this one, I set zoom to 15x (I think...). I had always thought that setting zoom to higher than the telephoto optical zoom (3x for the 13 Pro) would just crop the photo, but this is till a 12mp photo, so obviously Apple's "deep fusion" is adding detail that it can't actually capture. Pretty remarkable really.

Fav pic I took with my 13 Pro Max back in July. Horrible storm rolled through knocking out power to some for a week. Hail, 100 mph winds and lightning non stop for 20 minutes.
