Perpetual notification/badge from Facebook

Wondering if anyone else is having this problem. It actually started before the last update a week or so ago and did not get fixed with the update. I have push settings for facebook set to badges only. For over 2 weeks now I've been getting one badge that simply shows up after I quit the app. When I launch again and go to the notifications it says what it's for and goes away. Later when I launch it and close the badge is back when I close the app. I get a notification for the same thing again, I relaunch to clear it.

Deleting the app, resetting my iPhone, and reinstalling facebook didn't fix it. The update didn't fix it. Turning push notifications off for facebook totally doesn't fix it (or just turning off push totally). No matter what I do after using the app I get this badge.
