Why am I getting a repeated notification asking for me to “Update Apple ID Settings”?

I type in my Apple ID password...and it’s accepted. The notification goes away...but then it does the same thing the following morning!

I had it happen after reboots. Then it stopped recently.

Maybe try restarting your iPhone.

I am, and I’ve done several hard resets.

Ok last thing

Go into settings and log out of your Apple ID then swipe all apps away then resign in

This happens to me from time to time. Recently, it seems it happens when I open the music app. Occasionally, it locks my account, with no clue why. Then I have to jump through hoops to unlock it.
