No notifications when power is plugged in

Anyone else notice this. No noise or battery bar graphics showing we plugged power in. Only way to tell is charge symbol next to battery

You should see a quick graphic in the upper right corner when you plug your phone in (on the X anyway). As for sound, I can’t comment at the moment. I leave my phone on silent.

I keep my phone on vibrate 100% of the time (as I have Apple Watch) but then I connect my phone to the charger when it's locked, I get a small vibration and the screen turns on to this:

However, if my phone is already unlocked and I connect the charger, I still get a short vibration but only see the battery icon turn green with the charging symbol beside it:
