No matter what I've tried, I cannot take a screenshot on my iphone 6 plus.

No matter what I've tried, I cannot take a screenshot on my iphone 6 plus. I've tried a hard shutdown, installed the latest software, used fingers other than the ones used to unlock - all with no success. I've tried pressing the home and power buttons together, and one at a time. What else can I do?

I have never experienced this. I hold the power and home button and voila.

I would suggest a visit to the istore.

Welcome to iMore!

Keep in mind the action is a click on each button, both at the same time. It's not a hold, more of a press, like the click of a noise. Or when you click the power button to sleep, or the home button to exit an app.

You'll see the screen flash and the screenshot will be in your camera roll.

You can use Assistive Touch in Settings >General >Accessibility > Assistive Touch. Toggle on Assistive Touch, tap "device", tap "more", tap screenshot. VIOLA!
