new to itunes: post to twitter?

I am new to itunes - I am frustratingly abandoning HP and their webOS fiasco (love that OS tho!) and moving on to the iphone 5 when it is released on Verizon. So I am getting used to itunes and becoming familiar with the app store. I have noticed that I can use Ping in itunes to Like or post about a song I am listening to. However, I ran across a situation where I was listening to a song that was not in itunes' database (weird, huh?) and so could not Ping it at all. Is there no way to post directly to twitter or facebook from itunes? No plugin of any kind or anything?

Just curious. And sorry for the n00b post. Also, I notice the newest version of itunes freezes up a lot in Windows 7. Common problem?
