My iPhone 7 plus unable to delete home screen apps

I have updated to iOS 12 and I can't delete the apps on my home screen where it still jiggles to delete but I no longer have the car mark where u can delete it

Restart your phone and try again.
Or go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage and delete the apps from there.
