Exactly! I've met a great deal of like minded tweeps and they have all treated me well. With Facebook, too many people just want to be nosy. I closed my Facebook account A couple of years ago and I don't miss it.

lol, this thread is so old that Twitter wasn't that big at the time

my most used social app would be Facebook. meeting up with old friends, seeing ex-girlfriends and some pretty hefty discussions haha. i probably spend way too much time on there, really

I started tweeting in March of 2009 and Twitter was really beginning to take off. I've been hooked ever since.
