Looking for cheap iPhone 5C cable.

I purchased a $4 USB cable to recharge my phone and my phone shows its charging but the battery percentage goes down fast. Apple probably did this to force me to only purchase their products. But I don't want to spend a whooping $50 on a USB cable. Seriously... I can get a $4 USB cable for any other phone and it will work flawlessly.

Can anyone please recommend a cheap USB cable that will work.

Amazon sells a lightning cable for about $14. Works great. We have about 4 of them. The apple one sells for $22. Not sure who's selling it for $50.
