Is anyone having issues with their iPhone keyboard freezing?

Is anyone having issues with their iphone keyboard freezing? I have done a reboot, restore , and set up as new and from a back up. It still freezes daily and I have to close apps or do a reset.
About to switch to my 5s.

IPhone 6 Plus Freezing

Do you use 3rd party keyboards? That will cause freezing up at times. I haven't noticed it since iOS 8.4. I do have an issue where the keyboard sometimes vanishes. I have to swipe the messages app out of the multitasking tray. Messages is where I see it most. That also works for the freezing issue.

Never had problems with the native keyboard...couldn't speak on the 3rd party or optional ones because I've never had a use for them.
