I have already done a factory reset a few days ago due to other issues like heating up,

Was looking through the logs to see why my phone had rebooted randomly while idle, showed three kernel panic logs all showing the same thing.

Curious if this is a hardware issue? or is something messing with my phone?

Try also reinstalling iOS. If both factory reset and iOS reinstall won't help the issue is in the hardware (basically nothing else can affect your phone as it was wiped).

But if it was heating up I wonder if the issue could be in CPU or battery. Was it hot after some specific activity like watching videos/using heavy apps or just after using it for a while?

Edit: About kernel, can't see something that can point the issue, but I'm not a really great expert :(

OP, it's possible in regard to your question, but I can't say for certain. I would take it to the nearest Apple Store and have them run some sort of diagnostics on it, even though they should be able to do it over the phone.

Battery is fine according to diagnostics phone wouldnt heat up that much its in the 70+ degrees here farenheit and it would hit around 90 with facebook and safari usage I have other phones that do the same since I work at a place with many phones, so I think that may have just been normal untill this happened.

I have had kernel errors in Mac OS and can be frustrating to troubleshoot. As other have suggested, take it to your local Apple store, they have the folks to diagnose the problem properly.

I agree with the others. Make an appointment at the Genius Bar and allow them to run their diagnostic tools to pinpoint the issue. Be sure to do an iCloud backup, and then factory reset the phone without restoring from backup before you bring it in. Their diagnostic tools can run better tests on devices that are set up as new. If you ask them to they'll restore your device from your backup before you leave.
