iPhone WIFI disconnects frequently

I am having lots of issues with my home WIFI.

Even with a strong signal from my router, the iPhone (3G) will drop the wifi connection often.

My workaround seems to be to turn off the wifi on the iPhone, then turn it back on again (using the switch). That seems to help it connect.

Do others have this problem? Or is my phone maybe defective?

Don't have problems with it dropped signal....but I do have problems with it not joining a network unless I manually do it in the Settings....especially if the SSID isn't broadcast
