iPhone + Nano (watch)

Is the new or old Nanos capable of working with the iPhone and display any texts and mail and such, on the Nano?

It looks really neat to have the Nano as a watch and look at it for notifications.

hm, not that I know of. Bear in mind that the iPod nano (even the 7G) is quite a basic device - the only thing that it has more than other iDevices is the FM tuner.
